Jody was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and went on to join the Navy for 6 years after school. She always knew she wanted to work with animals, but wasn't sure in what field. She soon fell in love with  grooming while helping a friend with their business for 3 years, then went on to become a grooming manager for 2 years. Jody opened and ran her own salon for a few years until she started working as a groomer in a veterinary office to better help animals for 12 years. She finally found Sugar Hill Animal Hospital where we plan to keep her! Jody has 8 cats and 2 dogs. She is a cat lover and loves to groom them. She enjoys building long term relationships with owners and their pets while specializing in Soft Coated Wheaten and West Highland Terriers. She truly loves the terrier breeds.

Justin was raised in North Carolina and attended college at Southwestern Christian University in Oklahoma City.  He knew at a young age that he wanted to pursue a career with animals and is currently a grooming apprentice under our Salon Manager, Danielle. Justin will soon become our next professional groomer! In his spare time, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and four dogs and enjoys reading, playing music, and working outdoors in the yard.
